Frequently Asked Questions

What happens to my shares in a stock split?
In a split (e.g. 2:1), you get more shares at a proportionally lower price. Your total investment value stays the same.
How is the new price calculated after a split?
New Price = Old Price × (Old Shares / New Shares). For a 2:1 split, the price is halved.
Does a stock split affect my portfolio value?
No. A stock split only changes the number of shares and price per share, but your total investment and portfolio value remain unchanged.
